A) Place your "Jewel Orchid" in bright filtered light. Avoid placing your plant in an area with cold drafts or to near a cold window. Your "Jewel Orchid" should produce 3 to 5 flower spikes once a year between November and January. Check for watering weekly allowing the surface of the soil to dry. Feed bi-monthly with Orchid Food. Stem cuttings can be rooted in a container of water or vermiculite.

A) I doubt very much that you can do that. You could buy a second lid maybe and put both light unit parts on but then the cover parts would not fit properly. I'm not even sure you can buy the lid, maybe you can just buy the light part. The two lights should be enough, if you think they are dull it might be time to replace them because even though they still light they are basically worn out.

A) An automatic watch is mechanical not electrical. It gets its power from the movements of the wearer. These movements are used to wind a spring which stores the energy. The jewels are used in some of the bearings because they wear out much more slowly than a simple metal bearing. And yes, an automatic movement is different from a quartz movement. Action replay Jewel Chao?

Q) I used action replay to get a jewel chao, for sonic adventure 2 battle. i mated it with a shiny chao to get a transculent chao, but it came out a shiny solid color. i mated 2 jewel chao together, and it came out with a normal chao. is there a code or way to make it a real jewel chao? anyone have any experience with this??

A) I think the only way to get a real Jewel Chao is trading from Sonic Advanced. I don't know why it wasn't transculent when you mated the "Jewel" and Shiny Chao. Can't get a Jewel from Breeding if memory serves, it has been a few years.

DVD Jewel Case?

A) a jewel case is a plastic case for the cd.......otherwise they will just put it in a cardboard sleeve. :)

Green Jewel cichlids?

Q) I have a Green Jewel. I've noticed a big sudden change in the colar of her,. It went from a white and green kinda strips to now Yellow and D. red belly and mouth. She is more aggresive and keeping on one side of the tank and on top of the water more the top and she makes sure no one comes to close to her... I have other fish in the 55 gal. I have An tiger Oscar, a Villion, a shark, the Green jewel, 2 goldfish, and alge eater...

A) it sounds like a very aggressive fish. If it is disrupting your community tank, then I suggest you get rid of it. Firstly, I would contact the fish store where you got it, and ask their opinion. Sorry I've been out of the hobby for years. good luck.

Faceted Glass Jewel?

A) Hi: You might check out an art and craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels, and in the beading section, there are Swarovski crystal beads that come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They have a few different greens, like emerald and citrine. If you don't find the exact piece you're looking for, you might see some glass examples that are interesting to you. Also, a wonderful online source for many different bead types is Fire Mountain Gems. If you still don't find anything to your liking, you could check out lampworked glass items. Some of the beads created with this method are striking, and you could probably find someone to create a piece for you, or you could take this up as a hobby. You could also check into fused glass - another fun hobby. You can find a lot of supplies for both lampworking and fusing at DelphiGlass. Hope this helps.
